SPRING FLOWERS – GAUCIN

If flowers are your passion, then this is the tour for you. Spring is when nature takes centre stage and nowhere is it more evident than in Gaucin. Strange as it may be to imagine the south of Spain covered in a lush, green undergrowth, the countryside bursts into life after the winter rains.

Discover an amazing range of flora; hillsides and meadows covered in wildflower, hidden glades harbouring an extraordinary variety of orchids and wild peonies. Your senses will be bombarded by the intense colour, the infinite variety and pure beauty of these flowers. We challenge anybody not to be stimulated by this irresistible landscape.

At the heart of this tour is our desire to expose you to the sheer splendour of the local flora and encourage your creativity. Whether your interest lies in macro photography or expressing yourself through the art of landscape photography, the aim is to capture the impact of these spectacular flowers, whether singularly or on mass, and to narrate that experience.

During your stay, we will defer to local botanists for advice on what flowers will be in bloom at the time of the tour. We will also try to accommodate any specific requests by attending photographers. Although we endeavour to select the best time of year to access the widest variety of flowers, we cannot guarantee that all species will be available for us to photograph.

Each day will include a location shoot, a delicious picnic or lunch, a review of the day’s work, and a superb dinner. Full creative and technical support will be on hand at all times to allow you to enjoy the experience and achieve your goal.

On a technical level, our tool of choice for the organisation and post processing of our raw capture will be Adobe Lightroom.

Partners are also welcomed, as there is more than enough to keep everyone engaged. Participation of partners on daily visits, as per the itinerary, is purely voluntary. Private tours can be organised to coincide with the scheduled visits, or Alberto will be happy to make alternative suggestions. Non-attendance to any scheduled trips, meals etc. will not be reimbursed in part or in full.
